To comply with the MDHHS new epidemic order to help curb the rapidly rising Covid-19 infection rates, beginning on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, the Morton Township Office will be staffed daily only from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
However, to reduce the risk of the spread of infection, entrance to the building will only be by appointment or as needed. If you must visit the office, please call when you arrive @ 231.972.7138, or knock on the door and someone will come to assist you.
We encourage everyone to conduct as much business by using our drop box or mail during this time. Visitors to the office will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING:
•If you are experiencing any of the following: Fever, cough, shortness of breath, other cold or flu-like symptoms.
• If you have been near others that have Covid-19.
• Unless you have essential business that can’t wait or can’t be done over the phone or online.
IF YOU MUST ENTER THE BUILDING:
• Masks are required.
• Stand at least 6 feet apart from others whenever possible.
• Limit your movement in the building and do not use common areas.
We all have a role to play in protecting our community from contagious illnesses, including potentially Covid-19.
Please consider the steps of frequent handwashing , avoid touching your face, and stay home when you are sick in order to help stop the spread of illness.
