Morton Township Community Hall Rental

Looking for a place for your next business meeting, group social or club event, or small party? Morton Township Hall features a great venue for what you need!

The hall offers a small kitchen with all the regular amenities including a refrigerator, microwave, stove with oven, and full sink. Tables and chairs are available for your convenience, as well as, a coat room and two restrooms. 


Birthdays, Showers, Reunions, Funeral luncheon $ 100.00 (rental) plus a $50.00 deposit

For profit business functions $ 200.00 plus a $ 50.00 deposit

Weddings & Receptions $ 200.00 plus a $ 50.00 deposit

Deposit refunded if Hall is cleaned and restored to original condition.

Payment is made with two separate checks: one for the rental and one for the deposit. The deposit check will be returned if the hall is restored to its original condition.

Hall Rental Agreement Information

The hall may be decorated and furniture moved, but nails, tacks or any other materials which would damage the property cannot be used.

Bring and  replace  any trash  bags  used and take with  you (remove from  the premises) any  trash from  your party. You  will  be charged for any trash  left  behind. Morton  Township does  not  have a dumpsite.

Do not do the preparation of food at the town hall. The preparation should be done in advance. 

Only plug in one small appliance per outlet. 

Do not leave food & bottled goods in the refrigerator; take all leftovers with you.

The bathrooms, kitchen, meeting room, and all  carpets  must be  in  the same  condition  as when  you arrived in  order to  receive  a refund  of your  deposit. This includes returning extra tables and chairs to storage room.

The key must be left on the kitchen counter or dropped in the drop box, and doors locked when leaving.

Payment should be made in advance for the hall rental and security/cleaning deposit.    

Agreement may be canceled without penalty up to 3 days prior to lease date.

The lessee is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all persons attending their gathering and responsible for all of their possessions.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises; dancing is prohibited as is using any flammable materials. 

Lessee is responsible for keeping noise down and that the gathering is not in violation with any federal, state, county or township laws and ordinances.
