Dump Your Junk Day

May 11, 2024 will be the next Dump Your Junk Day at the Morton Township Recycling Center.  Hours: 8am – noon.

This event is open to all Morton Township property owners. 

Look for your invitation in the mail in April.

DUMPSTERS AND COMPACTORS WILL BE PROVIDED TO ACCEPT THESE ITEMS:

Miscellaneous rubbish and junk, Styrofoam, batteries, furniture, iron, metals, lumber (cut into 2 foot lengths) and appliances.

Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners must have certificates attached that all Freon has been removed.  If there is no certificate attached, these items will not be accepted.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED:

Tires, liquids, oil, antifreeze, paints, cleaning supplies, hazardous waste materials, food garbage, building materials, yard waste, leaves, brush, grass, dirt, adhesives, concrete, cement chunks, or rocks.

***Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Day is scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024. For more information visit the Mecosta Conservation District website.
